Ajimobi appoints fmr. UNILAG VC, Ibidapo-Obe as Chairman Tech-U Governing Council
Oyo Governor, Abiola Ajimobi has appointed Prof. Oye Ibidapo-Obe, as the pioneer Pro-chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council of Technical University, Ibadan (Tech-U). Ibidapo-Obe was a former Vice-Chancellor of the University of Lagos (UNILAG). Ibidapo-Obe’s appointment is contained in a statement signed by Alhaji Olalekan Alli, Secretary to the State Government in Ibadan on Thursday. Alli listed other council members of the university as Mrs Ibukun-Oluwa Awosika, the Chairman, First Bank Nigeria Plc, Abimbola Sangodoyin, a Professor of Agriculture Engineering at the University of Ibadan and Dr Tunji Olaopa, the Executive Vice-Chairman, Ibadan School of Government and Public Policy.
